Description
The Milwaukee EC Eco CD-611 meter is an easy-to-use device that measures electrical conductivity. It features automatic temperature compensation and is commonly used in sectors such as fish farming, aquariums, agriculture, hydroponics and domestic or home growing.
Using the Milwaukee EC Eco CD-611 meter you'll have control over the fertiliser you provide with each watering to your plants, to avoid problems such as over-fertilisation or lack of nutrients in your plants.
Operation and calibration of the economical EC CD611 meter
First remove the black protective cover and switch on the meter using the ON/OFF button located at the top. Then submerge it up to the limit and wait for the reading. The meter is perfectly prepared and automatically compensates for temperature variations that occur.
It's important to know that the reading shown on the display must be multiplied by 100 to give a direct reading in mS/cm.
Furthermore, it has a simple calibration process. We must submerge the meter up to the limit in EC calibration liquid (M10031) and wait for the reading to stabilise. Then use a screwdriver to adjust to 1.4, which multiplied by 100 will give us an EC of 1413.
The calibration liquid should be changed with each use.
