Description

Cookies is the Californian company behind half a modern catalogue: Cherry Pie, Girl Scout Cookies, London Pound Cake, Gary Payton, Biscotti, Georgia Pie. This variety comes from their joint work with Silent Seeds, crossing two of their most recognisable genetics: Cereal Milk and Fruity Pebbles OG.

Three weeks of vegetative, no more

That’s the instruction the bank itself gives, and it’s worth respecting. Sugar Rock grows vigorous and slender, with medium to long internodes, so if you let it grow for more than three weeks indoors you’ll end up with a cupboard full of stems and it’ll be too tall for your space.

Managed well, that same slenderness works in your favour: the structure stays balanced and light penetrates to the lower part, so the lower flowers bulk up instead of staying as popcorn. Outdoors it reaches 2–2.2 metres, where it yields between 1,400 and 1,500 grams per plant. It’s one of the feminised indoor seeds that most appreciate you measuring your space before sowing.

A very creamy line of OG parentals

The profile inherits directly from the parentals and the bank describes it without metaphors: biscuit cereals and fruity cereals. The Cereal Milk brings the milky, sweet part that gives it its name; the Fruity Pebbles OG, the toffee fruit with the OG base underneath.

During flowering the plant also colours up: both foliage and flowers shift to varied tones, which adds visual presence to buds that finish in 60–65 days with 25–26% THC.

Two or three phenotypes

A detail worth knowing in advance: Silent Seeds acknowledges that Sugar Rock shows phenotypic variation, with two or three distinct profiles though quite similar to each other. It’s not instability, it’s selection margin.

In practice it means that if you open a pack of several seeds it’s worth labelling them and keeping a cutting from each one before flowering: it lets you choose the one that suits you best and keep it as a mother. If you prefer something more uniform within the same bank, Rainbow Gas is another of their exotics at a similar price.
