Purplenade XXL Auto

Silent Seeds has used the same mother in two of its new autos. Peanut Butter Breath is behind the Rainbow Breath and also behind this one; what changes is who it crosses with, and the change shows in everything else.

What the MAC brings

The father here is a MAC Auto. MAC —Miracle Alien Cookies— is one of the genetics that has most defined the last decade for a very specific blend: cookie, fuel and overripe fruit, without falling into easy caramel.

The declared profile follows that line to the letter: cookie, petrol and sweet ripe fruit. Anyone coming from the Mac Dawg XXL Auto treads familiar ground. On the other side of the family is the Rainbow Breath Auto, which leans towards creamy kush with fruity sweetness.

Why it carries the XXL

The XXL surname responds to size and, consequently, to yield, so it’s worth putting the numbers alongside its range siblings. It reaches 1.40–1.80 m against the 1.2–1.6 of Rainbow Breath and the 1.2–1.7 of Triangle Kush. It moves 550–625 g/m² indoors when the other two stay between 500 and 550. Outdoors it starts from a higher baseline —140 g per plant in the worst scenario— and shares the 400 g ceiling. And on top of that it finishes earlier: 57–61 days, a couple of days less at each end of the range. It enters XXL autoflowering seeds by the numbers, not by the name.

Purple, and designed to repeat

Throughout flowering it develops deep purples with lighter tones, which is where the name comes from and what sets it apart at a glance from the rest of the bank’s autos.

The least showy argument is, for serious growers, the one that weighs most: Silent Seeds insists on genetic stability between plants, aimed at delivering predictable results in large-scale cultivation. With an autoflower there’s no way to correct course mid-cycle or keep a mother plant, so having all ten plants behave the same is worth as much as the yield. The rest of the range is at Silent Seeds.
