Peach Cake by Cookies

Behind this intensely purple hybrid lies a collaboration between Silent Seeds and Cookies, the Californian company responsible for many of the successful genetics in the United States of America.

Peach aroma with creamy undertones

The mother is Peach Ringz by Dying Breed Seeds. The name may ring a bell: that same genetic is within Peach Ozz, on which Perfect Tree has built an entire line, so if you've tried the Peach Clouds you already know where the peach comes from.

The father is not an OZ Kush, but a selected Cheese Cake clone.

With that combination, the peach steps back and integrates into a baking base: sweet cheese, dough, fruit in the background.

A purple that holds through drying

The colour shifts to deep purple as flowering progresses, in both leaves and buds. Being a genetic expression rather than a reaction to late-stage cold, it reaches the jar without fading, which is where most purples lose their colour.

Beneath the colour are the numbers: 500–550 g/m² indoors in 63–65 days, and between 1,400 and 1,600 g per plant in soil, with harvest between late September and early October.

Two things to know before planting

Short vegetative stage. Grows robust but stretched, with moderate to wide internodes, and the breeder recommends no more than three weeks before flowering indoors. Outdoors it reaches 2–2.2 metres.

Multiple phenotypes. Silent Seeds acknowledges two or three distinct profiles, all of equal quality. If you open a full pack, label the plants and take cuttings before the switch so you can keep the one you prefer. Its collection sister, Sugar Rock, behaves the same way: between the two, the choice comes down to flavour and colour, not the spec sheet.
