Characteristics of Plagron RoyalMix

One of its key strengths is that it comes pre-fertilised with organic nutrients to cover approximately the first 6 weeks (depending on pot size and plant condition). This allows you to focus on watering and climate management whilst the plant grows vigorously, which is especially useful when transplanting to final pot size or when you want to reduce the number of products used.

As a loaded substrate, it is not most recommended for very young seedlings or freshly rooted cuttings. If you want to use it from the start, the ideal approach is to flush it with water before planting to remove some of the immediately available nutrients, or wait until the plant has grown a bit. From there, the standard recommendation is to start feeding from week 4, as organic nutrients take time to become fully available to the plant.
