Its structure offers excellent air retention, providing more oxygen to the root system and promoting rapid and uniform rooting. Moreover, the coconut helps distribute water evenly, which is especially noticeable in crops with frequent watering (drippers or controlled manual watering).

In daily use, the Growbag provides very practical features: it incorporates drip holes to facilitate watering and drainage slots that help prevent waterlogging. Since it doesn't come fertilised, you can start giving nutrients from the first watering and have total control over nutrition, typical of coconut growing.

How to use Plagron Premium Growbags?

To hydrate them correctly, follow these instructions:

• Add water very gradually until you add 1.7L for the 3.4L version and 4L for the 8L version (best with drippers or slow watering) until the block expands and becomes loose.
• After 24 hours add another 0.7L (in the 3.4L one) and 1.6L in the 8L one.
• Plagron recommends adjusting irrigation water to pH 5.5–6.5 and adding nutrients with moderate drainage (maximum 10%) to keep the substrate at its optimum.
