Description

Aqua Clay Pebbles are expanded clay pellets that function as a porous substrate ideal for drainage and as a growing medium for hydroponic systems.

An organic material capable of absorbing water, nutrients and air in small amounts and releasing them depending on external conditions. It has very little water retention capacity (15-20%) so the safety margin in irrigation is small.

It is perfect for the bottom layer of pots as it guarantees proper drainage throughout the growing period.

It is a neutral substrate so you must use a hydroponic nutrient such as Aqua Vega or Aqua Flores depending on the stage you are in.

Usage recommendations:

  • In hydroponics, thoroughly rinse before use to remove clay deposits.
  • Keep in a stable nutrient solution for at least 24 hours to stabilise the pH level.
  • For pot drainage, no treatment is necessary.
