Platinum Bird

Platinum Bird by Purple City Genetics, a US genetics strain crossing Gelato #33 and Gush Mints, two elite clones. It offers a creamy flavour with a strong gaseous terpene profile. It is a hybrid, feminised strain that lives up to its name, as its leaves turn silver when it completes its growth phase.

Platinum Bird Characteristics:

This hybrid variety exhibits a robust and compact structure, with deep green leaves and buds densely covered in trichomes. With its balanced composition of Indica and Sativa genetics, Platinum Bird has inherited the best of both worlds, which is reflected in medium to tall plants, purple-hued leaves and orange pistils. Its ease of cultivation, low maintenance and rapid flowering time of just 9 weeks guarantee large, dense and compact buds.

It is a versatile plant that adapts to both indoor and outdoor cultivation, although it requires care and attention to reach its full potential. Platinum Bird's flowering period is approximately 9 weeks, making it relatively quick in terms of growth and harvest.

Its resin production is extraordinary, and harvesting is easy to manage due to the sparse foliage surrounding the buds. With a maximum flowering time of 9 weeks, the resulting buds are hard, highly aromatic and visually striking due to their shape and colour.

Outdoor Cultivation:

In outdoor environments, Platinum Bird thrives particularly well in temperate and Mediterranean climates, reaching moderate heights. It is hardy and can adapt to a variety of conditions. For optimal yields, it is recommended to provide plenty of sunlight and balanced feeding. In the northern hemisphere, it is usually ready for harvest in early October.

Indoor Cultivation:

In indoor growing environments, this variety is ideal for making the most of available space. It can be grown in various media, such as soil or hydroponic systems. Controlling humidity and temperature is essential to ensure healthy growth. Additionally, pruning techniques can be applied to increase light exposure and, consequently, bud production. Platinum Bird has a flowering period of approximately 9 weeks in indoor cultivation.

Flavour and Effects of Platinum Bird:

Platinum Bird offers an exceptional flavour with creamy undertones and a distinctive gaseous touch. When consumed, you will experience a smooth and pleasant flavour that lingers on the palate.

In terms of effects, Platinum Bird induces deep physical relaxation that relieves stress and tension. On a mental level, it provides a potent psychedelic rush and a sense of euphoria that evolves into a state of relaxation and lasting wellbeing.
