Description
Burning sulphur is a very effective method for combating common pests in indoor crops or greenhouses: Thrips, spider mite, whitefly and other fungal diseases such as powdery mildew and botrytis.
The Sulphur Burner features a pan beneath which the heating element is located. When the sulphur is heated, it undergoes a sublimation process in which it transforms into a gaseous state. It is very important to use a burner to avoid generating harmful substances.
To use it, we recommend hanging the burner approximately 80cm above the plants, fill it with 100 gr of sulphur and plug it in. If you are using it as a preventive measure, 4 hours of use is sufficient, but if you are targeting a pest infestation, it is recommended to leave it on for 7 to 8 hours.
For complete effectiveness, you should use one Sulphur Burner per 8 m². This method is used in greenhouses around the world and is classified as biological and environmentally friendly. It is not toxic. It works simply by raising the pH of the leaf surface to repel all types of fungi and pests.
