Green Candy Apple de TH Seeds

Some varieties are bought by the number and others by their profile. Green Candy Apple is one of the latter: a flavour so distinctive that the bank describes it plainly as green apple with candy floss. It comes in a limited run of 710 packs and only in a two-seed format.

Green apple and mint candy

The profile comes from the Bad Root cut (Rainbow Belts x Apple Mintz), brought from Ember Valley in California. It's a clone known precisely for that: an unusual fruity strain where green apple comes through clean, accompanied by a mint candy undertone that gives it the twist. T.H.Seeds crossed it with their pure Afghan male, and according to the bank the result not only grows better, it also tastes stronger.

On the palate it delivers what the nose promises from start to finish, which is less common than it sounds: many aromatic varieties fall flat when smoked. You'll find them alongside the rest of the house at TH Seeds.

Easy, wide and very dense

It stays between 110 and 150 cm, with good spacing between nodes and just the right amount of side branches. It stretches a factor x2, sometimes a bit more, and tends to spread wide: reserve surface area rather than height when planning your space. It tolerates an apical prune, though the bank clarifies it can go unpruned because it doesn't shoot up on its own.

The rhythm has a useful quirk to know: it goes somewhat slow in veg and picks up in flower, finishing in 8 or 9 weeks with 500-600 g/m². The buds come out rock-hard and completely covered in trichomes. It's among the feminised seeds that are easy to manage even without much experience.

Better in water than dry

The bank is unusually specific about this and it's worth repeating as stated: it performs well in dry extraction and rosin, but better in water. If you're going to wash it, that hierarchy saves you a trial run. Have your resin extraction equipment ready before harvest.

On the effects, an honest warning from the bank itself: it's an intense and long-lasting body relaxation that can be strong for beginners. If you're after another apple from the same catalogue with a different character, the Black Apple Hitchcock is the alternative.
