Hot air passing through dried herb, without contact with the heating element: this is how the XMAX V4 Pro vaporiser works, a pure convection portable ready to vape in about 10 seconds. Adjust the temperature degree by degree between 100 and 220 °C and regulate the airflow, making it a very complete alternative among portable vaporisers for dry herb.

Features of the XMAX V4 Pro

The chamber, filter and air box are made of stainless steel, and the airpath ends in a glass mouthpiece. With a 100% isolated air route and no direct contact with the heating element, extraction is homogeneous and terpenes are clearly appreciated from the first draws.

A slider regulates airflow in 3 positions to adjust draw resistance, and the colour OLED display shows temperature, battery level and session time.

The glass mouthpiece also acts as a 14 mm adapter, so it fits directly onto bongs with that joint to pass the vapour through water before inhaling.

Heating modes and use of the XMAX V4 Pro

In session mode it maintains the chosen temperature for 4 or 6 minutes, which start counting when it reaches the set point. In on-demand mode it only heats while you hold the power button.

Convection requires some technique. Grind the flower finely with one of our grinders, load the chamber without compacting, start at a low temperature and take slow and steady draws. Overloading it can block the filter and reduce vapour.

The removable 18650 battery allows you to carry a spare. The manufacturer indicates a minimum of 12 sessions of 6 minutes at 220 °C per charge. With a 5 V/1 A charger it recharges in about 3 hours; with chargers of more than 5 V/2 A, the internal protection stops charging.

XMAX V4 Pro versus V3 Pro and Starry V4

Those coming from the X-Max V3 Pro will find three clear improvements: adjustable airflow, colour OLED display and glass mouthpiece with integrated water pipe adapter.

If you alternate flower and concentrates, the XMax Starry V4 Vaporiser heats by conduction and reaches 240 °C. The V4 Pro is aimed at dry herb: it accepts concentrates only with its specific wax cup and does not accept oils or liquids.
