This freeze dryer is the tool used in laboratories and industrial applications to dry all types of products such as ice water hash extractions that require lyophilisation equipment. Xiros Mikro is capable of extracting up to 4kg of ice in a single day without compromising process quality.

Features of the Xiros Mikro Freeze Dryer:

The unit includes a standard configuration of 5 stainless steel trays, with the option to adjust to 3, 7 or 9 trays according to user requirements. This flexibility allows you to process a greater quantity of product in a reduced space.  The ice condenser has a volume of 11 litres and has a capacity to retain up to 8 kg of ice and sublimate 4 kg of product in 24 hours, making it ideal for laboratories that require processing large volumes efficiently.

The unit shelves reach a minimum temperature of -35 °C for freezing and a maximum of +60 °C during drying, with a precision of +/- 3 °C. Typical product processing capacity is 9.6 kg with an 80 % moisture content, ensuring efficient dehydration for large batches.

Process control is versatile and precise, as the unit allows both manual and automatic operation. You can programme up to 16 custom steps to adjust drying conditions according to product characteristics. In addition, the Xiros Mikro allows storage of up to four predefined recipes, optimising the repeated use of the equipment. Control is managed via a 5-inch touchscreen, which facilitates programming and monitoring of drying cycles. It also features USB connectivity for software updates and data logging, improving long-term process control.

Oil-free vacuum pump included in the Xiros Mikro Freeze Dryer:

The unit is equipped with a dry scroll-type vacuum pump, Anemos model from Holland Green Science, which uses the latest oil-free technology. This pump eliminates hydrocarbon contamination, making it a safe and low-maintenance option for sensitive applications such as high-value extractions.

Additionally, the unit features a defrost function through shelf heating, which simplifies maintenance and reduces downtime between cycles. It also has USB and RS232C interfaces, facilitating updates and data logging, optimising performance in industrial and laboratory applications.

The Xiros Mikro operates quietly, with a noise level of 54 dB(A) without the vacuum pump, and uses R290 refrigerant, which is environmentally friendly. The pump requires a maximum current of 3A, making this unit an efficient and reliable option for environments requiring high precision and control in lyophilisation processes.
