The HTC-2 Large Display Thermo-Hygrometer by Platinum Horticulture is a precision instrument for recording temperature and humidity levels in your environment. The probe version includes a 2 metre probe that allows measurement of exterior temperatures from −50 °C to +70 °C, as well as interior temperature (−10 °C to +50 °C) and relative humidity (20 % to 99 %) — useful for monitoring both room climate and, for example, substrate or outdoor temperature. The non-probe version shares the same interior temperature and humidity ranges in a simpler format for those who only need to monitor the interior.

Both models display data on a large LCD screen and include max/min recording, digital clock with alarm and calendar function. They run on a single 1.5 V AAA battery, with low power consumption and stable reading accuracy.
