One of its key features is its large storage capacity. The collector is fitted with a 150-litre tank made from polyethylene, a highly resistant thermoplastic material. This capacity allows for storage of large quantities of leaves and plant waste without the need to empty the tank constantly.

The equipment incorporates a 40-micron filter in the suction system, a crucial element to ensure constant, unobstructed airflow. This filter retains the finest particles, allowing clean air to continue circulating, which guarantees optimal performance and prevents blockages that could affect operation. This design optimises equipment productivity and maintains system efficiency throughout the entire operation.

The suction system comprises a polyurethane hose reinforced with a steel spiral, providing it with flexibility and resistance. The hose carries food-grade certification, ensuring that collected waste is handled hygienically and complies with food safety standards.

The collector is equipped with a 2 CV air-cooled motor, providing the power needed to handle large volumes of plant material without sacrificing efficiency. How the MT 500 Standard Leaf Collector Aspirator Works:

1. Connecting the collector to the peeler: The first step is to connect the aspiration hose from the collector to the outlet of the peeler.
2. Suction of plant material: During the peeling process, plant waste is drawn through the hose into the collector.
3. Transport of material to the tank: The suctioned residue is directed to the 150-litre tank, where it is stored in a polyethylene bag.
4. Air filtration: The suction system includes a 40-micron filter that ensures air circulates without obstruction. 
5. Storage of collected material: All suctioned material is deposited in the polyethylene bag inside the tank.
