Rockwool Slab Cultiwool (7.5x7.5cm)

The 75 mm rock wool block is designed as a transplant medium: it is used once the cutting or seed has already rooted in a smaller block. It has two holes —the large one for a 40 mm block and the small one for a 25 mm block—, so you simply need to carefully insert the smaller block to carry out the transplant. Due to its neutral, porous and hygienic nature, it is ideal for slab or hydroponic growing. It is part of the substrates category.

This block connects the two phases: it receives the 40 mm block where you rooted the cutting and, when the plant has grown, it is placed on a rock wool slab for the growing phase.

Usage recommendations

• Stabilise the pH of the medium by watering or submerging the blocks in water at pH 5.5.
• Transplant the seedling or rooted cutting by inserting the smaller block into the hole of the larger block.
• Water successively with water and a root stimulator.
