Philips MasterColour CDM 315W

Presenting the new Philips 315W Bulb, brought to you by Philips. Designed by the horticulture division's engineering team as the latest innovation from Dutch Philips Lighting.

The technology included in LEC Bulbs features a broader colour spectrum than HPS and similar to natural sunlight, more than any other type of bulb — a technology developed and patented by Philips to replace traditional HPS.

Originating from the old MH (metal halide) lamps, this is a bulb with up to 50% more brightness per watt of consumption and 10 - 20% greater photosynthetic efficiency.

With 315W of power, the Philips 315W LEC Bulb is capable of delivering spectacular flowering performance and excellent vigour in growing spaces intended for mother plants.

Another advantage of using LEC is the lower heat emission per unit of consumption. This means lower energy costs and smaller air-conditioning units for the same growing space. Results are spectacular in any indoor horticultural operation, greenhouses and nurseries.

Important for users:

Both bulbs emit UV-A and UV-B rays that provide plants with a higher level of photosynthesis but can be harmful to health. We recommend wearing specific glasses when working under CMH / LEC bulbs.
