Description
The 12-Way Manifold Drip Plug is sold in a pack of 8 units and is used to block off the unused outlets on the 12-way Manifold Dripper (25 mm). This way the same manifold adapts to the actual number of pots, without needing to change the dripper when your crop has fewer plants.
How many outlets can the Manifold block
The Manifold allows you to block up to 8 of its 12 outlets, meaning at least 4 must remain open. The 8 plugs in this pack cover that maximum: in a grow tent with 6 pots, for example, you just need to plug 6 outlets. Since the dripper is self-compensating, the open outlets maintain their flow rate of 2 L/h as long as the system is running with a pressure water pump.
Having a spare Manifold Drip Plug also saves hassle between one crop and the next: these are small parts that easily go missing when you disassemble the system or clean the manifold's washable internal filter.
