Designed to facilitate cultivation, even for beginners, as it includes everything you need to get started: a substrate colonised with McKennaii spores, a breathable cultivation bag, and a step-by-step guide.

The McKennaii mushroom cake is inoculated with this variety of Psilocybe, which is large-sized, irregularly shaped, with a thick and resistant stem and dark brown cap that gives it a distinctive appearance.

McKennai Mushroom Cultivation Recommendations:

It is very important to maintain extreme cleanliness throughout the process. If possible, we recommend using nitrile gloves for handling.

The mushroom cake must contain sufficient moisture to fruit. Check it carefully and hydrate it if you notice dryness, as the substrate may be slightly separated from the container:

1. Moisten the mushroom cake with a small amount of distilled water before opening it completely.
2. Wait a few hours for it to become completely moist and remove any excess water.
3. Place the container in the bag included in the kit and remove the lid, leaving the cake exposed.
4. Fill the bag with 1cm of distilled water. Its evaporation throughout the cultivation process is essential.
5. With each harvest, lightly mist the surface of the cake with distilled water to prevent it from drying out.
