Description
The Lumatek 50W FAR-RED LED Bar is a device designed to improve plant growth by extending the light spectrum of ZEUS LED systems. Its primary function is to add light in the deep red spectrum [701-750] nm, a type of light that plays an important role in the final stages of growth and flowering, offering a light spectrum more similar to sodium (HPS) bulbs.
Features of Lumatek 50W Far-Red LED Bar:
Among its technical features, the 50W FAR-RED LED bar has a light distribution angle of 140°, which ensures wide and uniform coverage over the growing area. This is especially useful for covering large plant surfaces and ensuring that all areas receive the same amount of light, maximising growth. It is also equipped with an intelligent LED controller that includes full circuit protection.
It is recommended to use at least 2 units with the Zeus 465W Pro, Zeus 600W Pro and Zeus 1000W Xtreme CO2 models, and at least 3 units with the Zeus 1000W Pro, to optimise light distribution and improve crop performance. Additionally, it is possible to chain up to 18 units, which allows you to cover larger growing areas and facilitates the expansion of your lighting system. It is also important to adjust the distance between the lights and plants to avoid possible damage, such as burns from excessive FAR-RED light exposure. If signs of stress are observed in plants, it is recommended to increase the distance between the light and the plants or reduce the exposure time.
Make sure to install at least the recommended units and always combine FAR-RED light with Lumatek's full spectrum LED range for best results and to avoid plant damage. Adjust the distance between the lights and plants according to horticulture lighting guides and the needs of each stage.
