iCure 2.0 is a curing chamber designed for hash, rosin and other resins, which cools and heats between 0 and 40 °C in a single 10-litre space. It is made by Italian brand iCure, from the same company as PaperHash.

Cold cure, hot cure and storage in one chamber

A fridge only cools and a heat mat only warms; the iCure 2.0 does both and regulates the temperature degree by degree. With cold you can do cold cure of rosin for badder or butter textures, and with heat hot cure, which speeds up the process and gives jam-like finishes.

Once curing is complete, the same chamber serves to store the product at the temperature you choose. It is the step that follows resin extraction, without improvised setups with fridges or heat mats.

10 litres with dividers for each batch

The chamber comes with dividers to separate batches: the upper shelf holds up to 10 5 ml glass jars, and the lower area fits two large jars and space for resin bricks. The door has room for three more jars.

How to use the iCure 2.0

Plug in the unit, hold down the power button and select the temperature using the touch controls on the door. You just need to wait for it to reach the temperature before putting the jars in.

To switch from hot cure to cold cure, or vice versa, turn it off and wait for it to return to room temperature before turning it back on. The manufacturer warns that direct changes between very different temperatures can damage it and will void the warranty.

In addition to the European mains cable, it includes a 12 V car cable, so you can also maintain the temperature during transport.

The manufacturer presents the iCure 2.0 as the final step of a system: you wrap the resin in PaperHash paper, seal it in an airtight jar and leave it to cure in the chamber. The paper has vegetable silicone on both sides, so the resin does not stick when you remove it.
