Gavita Pro Plus 1000W is a high-pressure sodium (HPS) bulb operating at high frequency and designed by Philips Lighting for the horticulture market. Its patented technology is capable of delivering between 10 and 25% more light than traditional bulbs, whilst consuming the same amount of energy.
This type of bulb must be used in combination with open, non-ventilated reflectors and is not compatible with cooled reflectors as they can lose up to 15% of efficiency.
Its double-ended socket (K12 x 30S) is only compatible with open reflectors designed with this integrated socket, such as the Gavita HR 96 DE. Remember to replace your bulbs after a full year of use to maintain optimal results.

The Gavita Miro HR 96 DE reflector, closed and manufactured in Miro aluminium, offers uniform reflection with excellent light penetration from all angles (135°) and a design for overlapping with other reflectors.
When used together with the Gavita Pro Plus 1000W EL DE (400V), it can cover a surface of 110x180cm at 90cm height in spaces where multiple units overlap to achieve a light level of 1000 µmol s-1 m-2.
