Made from Miro aluminium, the HortiStar reflects 96% of light with losses below 4%. After years of testing, Gavita found that this material cannot be cleaned without deteriorating and that in one year it can lose up to 5% efficiency due to dust and oxidation; that is why its great advantage is that the reflective sheet is replaceable, and is replaced without removing the bulb.
Compatibility
Accepts MH/HPS bulbs up to 600W with E40 socket. If you are looking for a more economical option for an open growing space, you also have the Stuco aluminium reflector, with 86% reflection.
