Congo Regular

Congo Regular stems from work begun around 2004–2006, when ACE Seeds started collecting seeds from ancient Central Congo varieties. From those explorations emerged two exceptional lines, Bangi Congo and Congo #3, potent genetics with tropical character. Later, they were crossed with a Pakistan Chitral Kush (PCK), a classic indica from northern Pakistan highly prized for its purple colours and resilience. Thus Congo was born – Regular Seeds that are stable, balanced and better suited to modern cultivation.

Growing Characteristics of Congo Regular:

In cultivation, Congo Regular develops a robust sativa structure. Despite its tropical heritage, it presents relatively fast flowering of 9 to 10 weeks, thanks to Chitral influence. Outdoors it is ready to harvest in the first half of October, offering medium-high yields and excellent resistance to mould, powdery mildew, botrytis, spider mite and cold.

During flowering, plants may show purple and magenta tones, especially in temperate climates or when night temperatures drop. The buds are compact, not what you'd expect from a sativa-dominant genetic.

Organoleptic Properties of Congo Regular:

Congo Regular is characterised by its floral and fruity aroma with hints of grapes and wild berries (blackberry, strawberry), accompanied by a soft and fresh background. An elegant and very natural aroma that reflects the balance between African purity and Pakistani rusticity.
