This useful tool works with most air conditioners, as long as the unit comes with an infrared remote control. The controller will 'teach' the IR signals to the module (ARS-1), allowing it to learn these remote codes. By doing so, it can send the same signals to the indoor mini-split unit, automatically changing the setpoint to your desired Day or Night temperature setting, based on the photocell sensor status.
