The original Trainwreck is famous for two things: hitting hard and being awkward to grow because of its sativa structure. Barney's has crossed it with its BF Super Auto #1 to keep the first and fix the second. Among autoflowering seeds it's one of the few with genuine sativa dominance that stays cabinet-sized.

A sativa that fits in 120 cm

With 80% sativa genetics the plant grows vigorously and branches generously, but the autoflowering gene keeps it to 80-120 cm indoors and 120-150 cm outdoors. The full cycle is 75-85 days from seed, without touching the photoperiod.

What it will ask for is lateral space. It branches generously and if you squeeze it into a narrow pot or pack it next to its neighbours, you'll lose a good chunk of the 450-550 g/m² it's capable of producing. With an auto you can't fix it with more veg time, so you need to plan the spacing before you sow.

Pine, citrus and pepper

The aroma opens with fresh pine, followed by bright citrus and a hint of pepper, with earthy undertones beneath. On the palate it keeps the pine and earth on the first drag, leaves a sweetness mid-smoke and the citrus comes back on the exhale.

The bud matches: green and gold threaded with red and orange pistils, with a layer of trichomes giving it a frosty shine. The bank describes the effect as euphoric and creative on the come-up, with a relaxation afterwards that doesn't knock you out, so it's better for daytime than night.

Selected for mould resistance

Barney's claims to have worked it for resistance to powdery mildew and bud rot, and on a plant like this it makes sense: the open, airy structure of a sativa already ventilates better than a compact indica bud, and the selection reinforces that advantage. It's a solid argument if you grow outdoors in a humid area or if you're tight on dehumidification indoors.
