Description
A product used in the cannabis industry to obtain male pollen from female plants, in order to produce feminised seeds. Safe use of this product requires knowledge of chemistry. The product is mixed with silver nitrate in the correct amount, resulting in silver thiosulfate, which geneticists use to reverse the sex of female plants and obtain male flowers. They then use their female pollen to produce feminised seeds.
The handling and mixing of these products must be done with the necessary safety measures. It is recommended that you inform yourself about the process and protect yourself adequately.
How to use Sodium Thiosulfate:
- Do not use metal products, always use plastic utensils
- 20ml of distilled water, 0.35gr of silver nitrate, mix gently
- Separately, 30ml of distilled water and 1.3gr of sodium thiosulfate
- Combine both contents in a glass, mixing slowly with a plastic spoon
- The solution is very potent, so you must add 400ml of distilled water
- Stir until the mixture is homogeneous
- Extract 100ml of the solution and mix it with 400ml of distilled water
- And it will be ready to use
These products must be used with protection: goggles, gloves and face mask. For maximum potency, it is recommended to use it on the same day the mixture is made.
