Description
Silica Power is an additive by BAC rich in silicic acid of natural origin that acts by reinforcing plant cell walls and thereby increasing their resistance to disease, stress periods and extreme conditions for vital development.
When in contact with water, Power Silica transforms into monosilicic acid absorbable by plants and takes action by increasing phosphorus absorption from 40% to 60% and other nutrients such as iron, magnesium and calcium.
Silica Power is a highly effective preventative against disease, fungi and insects that increases the mechanical resistance of the epidermal cells of stems. Silicon is absorbed by the plant through the xylem; when water is consumed by the plant the silicon immobilises in crystals forming a barrier.
How to use Silica Power
- Apply during the growth and flowering phase
- Dilute between 0.1 and 0.3ml per litre of water
