Description

Phantom Photobio PAR Meter is an essential tool designed to measure with precision the light intensity in the photosynthetically active spectrum (PAR). This advanced device allows you to optimise plant growth by providing vital information about the amount of light they receive. The PAR meter is like a common light meter, but capable of detecting wavelengths between 400nm and 700nm and expressing the result in micromoles.

Features of the Photobio Phantom PAR Meter:

The PhantomBio PAR Meter allows the grower to control the maximum amount of radiation that a certain plant can tolerate. Excess light forces the plant to dissipate the extra photonic energy, causing damage to its tissues, light stress, and sometimes even plant death.

Cannabis plants have a photosynthetic limit of 1400-1500μm, above which they become stressed and close their stomata whilst folding their leaves upward.

The Photobio Phantom PAR Meter measures the quantity of µmol/m/s (micromoles per second that the lamp emits in a square metre) up to 10000μm, including infrared light and UV light.

It is the most used model for testing and comparing LED, LEC, CMH cannabis grow lighting equipment as it is patented and calibrated by Hydrofarm for this specific purpose.

The backlit display makes it easy to read the results. Additionally, the Photobio Phantom PAR Meter has a memory function to retain measured values, making it easier to compare and track performance.

I think Phantom has changed things here by bringing this PAR meter to a reasonable price. Works very well, nothing like the others that cost more than double..
