Distinguished from conventional HPS bulbs, the 400V variants display superior efficiency, with a notable 10% increase in light intensity and PAR / PPF (Photosynthetically Active Photons) production.
The presence of the PCA ceramic arc tube allows this bulb to operate at elevated internal temperatures, which results in better colour reproduction, greater light output and increased efficiency. Additionally, PCA offers resistance to chemical interactions within the tube, stabilising the chemical mixture throughout the bulb's lifespan, thus improving colour spectrum uniformity and maintaining PAR / PPF levels.
