Description

DiatoTerra is a diatomaceous earth for agricultural purposes, perfect for use as an insecticidal treatment or to correct nutrient deficiencies.

Diatomaceous earth is fossilised algae with a surface layer of silica. Its texture is similar to white powder.

When it comes into contact with the insect, it creates micro-perforations that damage its keratin layer, causing its death.

Application:

  • It is generally applied by dusting, although you can dilute it to better access the most difficult areas.
  • It is effective against aphids, scale insects, red spider mite, whitefly, caterpillars, nematodes and ants.
