Description
Aquaburst by Growth Technology is a wetting agent whose primary purpose is to facilitate water infiltration into the substrate, effectively preventing certain areas from becoming dry. This process results in a more even distribution of the nutrients necessary for plant development. As a consequence, more efficient watering is achieved, which in turn translates to significant savings in both fertilisers and water.
Aquaburst Features:
This wetting agent plays a crucial role in penetrating the substrate and creating uniformity that ensures all areas receive the same amount of water.
AquaBurst is successfully used in crops characterised by intermittent watering (when daily watering is not carried out), in drip irrigation systems or in situations where the root mass is so extensive that water cannot fully penetrate the substrate.
When growing plants in pots or containers, it is common that when watering them, channels or depressions form where water enters unevenly, failing to achieve even distribution throughout the growing medium. This phenomenon can cause problems in the roots, which in turn affects plant growth and flowering. This problem also manifests itself in drip irrigation and when the root mass is excessively large, which hinders water penetration.
Added to this is another challenge: the increase in salinity in the substrate and the consequent increase in Electrical Conductivity (EC), which rises exponentially. This problem prevents plants from obtaining the nutrients and hydration they need, which is reflected in burnt leaf tips and nutritional deficiencies.
The application of AquaBurst solves these problems by breaking down water hardness, which allows it to fully penetrate the substrate, hydrating it and removing accumulated salts. As a result, a properly hydrated and well-homogenised substrate is obtained. This translates to uniform nutrient distribution and, consequently, a healthier root system in soil, coco fibre or any other solid medium, both in indoor and outdoor cultivation. In addition, possible stress situations are reduced and healthier plant growth is promoted.
How to use Aquaburst:
The most appropriate way to use AquaBurst is to add 1 ml per litre of water at the end of nutrient mixing, without affecting the EC or pH of the solution. This product leaves no residue that could clog irrigation systems, making it suitable for both manual and automatic watering.
In addition, AquaBurst can also be applied as a foliar spray, adding 2 ml per litre of water. Spraying prolongs its effect on plants and can be combined with insecticides, fungicides, additives or stimulants.
